Case Study: The Killie and Ingraham Home
When Heather Killie, M.D., an orthopedic surgeon, and Richard Ingraham, a golf professional, set out to design their dream home in Windham, New Hampshire, they wanted to be involved in every detail, from collaborating with the architect on the overall design to working with the builder to choose the best materials.

CRAFTSMAN HOME STYLE FEATURING:
Celect® Board & Batten in Grove
Killie discovered Celect® Cellular Composite Siding by Royal® after consulting with building professionals and doing some independent research. “We were looking for a maintenance-free exterior and something that was going to be pretty,” she said.
“Originally, we had other siding products in mind, but I was not thrilled with the idea of using them,” she said. When Killie and Ingraham learned about Celect, they were very excited. In addition to Celect’s aesthetics—it looks like wood, has a seamless appearance and features a contemporary color palette—Killie was also sold on its low-maintenance benefits and the Kynar Aquatec® coating, which comes with a 25-year warranty on the finish.
A Curb-Appealing Team Effort
Killie worked with the team at the Royal® Building Products design center, who used the HomePlay™ Prime design tool to map out different siding and trim combinations so she could visualize her options.
The contractor hadn’t installed this type of siding before, but the Celect team provided detailed installation guidance to ensure the process went smoothly. “We couldn’t be happier with our decision to use Celect and Zuri on the exterior of our house,” said Killie. “The outcome was exactly what we were looking for—high-end, maintenance-free products that look amazing.”

Beautiful Conversion
Sherry and Bruce Berman saw the potential beauty in an old New Jersey seaside garage and set out to transform it from the studs up into their dream home.
